How do I join a game?

Is there a limit to how many players can take part in each game?

Regular multiplayer games have no player limit. Each player joining the game contributes to the game prize. Special Events and Tournaments have maximum player limits.

What if there are no players at the Game I wish to play?

Ya Play-Money games do not have a minimum number of players so they can start on time with just one player. Cash money games require a minimum number of two participants. If you join a game and are the only player at start time, a cancellation message will pop up. Click OK to return to the lobby. Entry Fees paid will be refunded in full to your account balance.

Will I know what the prize pool is at all times?

Yes. The updated prize value for each game is shown under Prize in the Lobby game menus. The Prize value is also displayed just above the game name at the top right of the game window.

I’ve never played a game on BabyBoomer-Trivia before. How do I start?

You can find out more about the way it works and the rules from the How to Play guide. When you log in you will be offered three options. One is Practice, you can play as many practice games as you want. Playing Ya play-money games is a good and fun way to hone your skills and see what it’s like to play against others.

How do I know who won and who got the prize?

When a multiplayer game ends the game’s leaderboard is displayed to all players, showing each player’s final position and the number of correct answers out of total questions answered.  Up to nine top qualifying players win a share of the prize, according to their position based on the Multi-Players Games Prize Distribution Table.

What are the different jackpots at BabyBoomer-Trivia?

Every category lobby offers its own Jackpots. All jackpots are available in the Jackpot lobby. Jackpots vary in length (number of questions) and game features (exit points and lives) and some are skill level specific. You can read more about Jackpot games in the How to Play Jackpots chapter.

How do I qualify to win a jackpot?

To win the entire bank prize of any jackpot, you have to correctly answer all questions of increasing difficulty. You have 10 seconds per question. Jackpots offer different Exit Stations in which you can exit the game with a portion of the prize. What will you do? Take a cut of the loot or stay until the end for the chance to win the bigger prize?

Where do I see the amounts in each jackpot?

Jackpot bank values are updated in real time. Each Jackpot bank value is displayed under Prize on the Lobby’s Game Menu.

Can I review games I played in the past and the questions that I answered?

You can see your entire gaming track record in the Game History report. Look at your Game History by clicking on the link in the Lobby left hand menu or from the Account Management section. You can set the report filters to focus your search results. Clicking a game line will open the Game Details popup, where you can review the categories you played, who you played against and the questions you were asked.
