How do I chat with other players? You will see the Public chat box in the lower middle part of the Lobby or Waiting room screens. Messages can be typed in the box labeled Type here to chat. Just press Enter on your keyboard or the Send button on the right to send your message to the chat box. All players' messages will show in the Public chat box. If you wish to chat with someone in a private chat then double-click their username in the Players’ list to the left. A new chat box will open, along with a new tab labeled with the Player’s username which will distinguish it from other chat boxes. You can close private chat boxes by clicking the black ‘X’ on their tab. The Public chat box can’t be closed. Click the Tabs to switch between Chat boxes. A chat box not in view will have its Tab blinking to let you know there’s an incoming message.

When you find one, click their username to start a private chat or just chat with your friends in the Public chat window.
back to top | When players swear or use abusive language, what happens? We do not tolerate swearing or the use of abusive language. If somebody’s behaviour in Chat is concerning or bothering you, contact us or send us a screen shot of the offending chat box, and we’ll look at it and deal with it as appropriate.
