Getting around BabyBoomer-Trivia

When you log in, you’ll see the Main Menu. From here you can choose one of six destination lobbies, four category lobbies offering Ya (play money) and real money multiplayer games, a Jackpot Lobby where you can take a crack at answering enough questions to take home the big jackpots and the Special Events Lobby where you can sign up for daily, weekly and other events offering special prizes, tournaments and other exciting game options.
Each lobby tells you which games you can join, your updated account balance and Skill Level and also which other players are currently logged in BabyBoomer-Trivia.

Tabs

The tabs at the bottom of the page help you find your way around or change your settings. There are four fixed tabs, the two on the left-hand side are the Cashier and the Main Menu tabs. On the right-hand side, two tabs give you access to the Help Menu and Audio Controls. A single Lobby window and several Game windows can be opened at the same time, each represented by a tab with the lobby’s or game’s name and icon. The Lobby and Game tabs appear when you click on a lobby icon or join a game and they disappear when you close the window (X). Any window but the Main Menu can be closed by clicking the black X icon located at the top right corner of the window. If you close a window before a game starts, the game window will automatically pop up just in time for the 3 second countdown.

Please Note: if you close a window while a game is going on, that will result in an automatic game loss, meaning the game is over for you!

When you pick a game, the Game window opens. Every Game window has a corresponding tab in the bottom navigation area labeled by its theme icon and game name. The Game window has 4 phases. First, is the Waiting Room. While you’re waiting for the game to begin, why not take a look around the game screen or play a practice game. Next, a 3 second countdown signals that the game is about to start. At this stage any hidden or closed Game window pops up into view to attract your attention and make sure you don’t miss out. Next, it’s the main event, where you get to put your trivia skills to the test. Finally, when the game has ended, you’ll then see a Game Summary displaying the competition winners and leaderboard.
